Efstathia’s passion for property, valuable local market intelligence and international expertise all have contributed to the company’s leading position in the market. Her vision for continuously raising industry standards for real estate services in Greece has resulted in numerous high-profile institutional and private clients’ benefits from Efstathia’s exclusive handling and management of their property portfolios. With more than 30 years of professional experience in Greece and the U.S., Efstathia’s presence in the market commanded great respect from both clients and competitors as she quickly established herself as a valuable industry resource. In Greece, Efstathia is often referred to as the “grande dame” of Athenian corporate real estate by competitors and the local press.
Prior to joining Cityscape, Efstathia was partner at one of Greece’s leading boutique corporate brokerage firms – which she co-founded back in 1985 -capitalizing on the office construction boom during the Eighties. The firm was located in the under-developed area of Northern Athens, which today is the premier business area in Greece. Her decades-long relationships with both landowners and landlords as well as her stellar reputation for offering international, high-caliber service to multinationals entering the Greek market back in the early Nineties, established Efstathia as the sole woman leader in corporate real estate for close to three decades.
